The Woodlands, TX — The Woodlands Mall and Sadler Clinic are proud to host the Children's Health Show on Saturday, March 6, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., in Center Court at The Woodlands Mall. One of Sadler Clinic's own Pediatricians, James Herrin, M.D., will be speaking at 1 p.m. on Childhood Obesity.
Dr. Herrin will be addressing issues surrounding childhood obesity, starting as young as pre-school years and how it affects the future lifestyles of our children. A child's proper nutritional health can be a factor in their lives as an adult. Parents are encouraged to join Dr. Herrin on learning how to help their children maintain a healthy life and avoid childhood obesity.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of health tests, such as vision screenings, blood pressure check, height and weight measurements, including growth curve percentiles. Parents will be able to talk with Dr. Herrin about dietary guidelines and recommendations for their children.
