The Woodlands, TX — Sleep isn’t just for beauty anymore. A good night’s sleep can influence our total health and well-being. Many of us often wonder why we feel lethargic at work, or never seem to have enough energy, or why we can never recover from a minor illness. Some of us even struggle with falling asleep or are kept awake by a chronic snorer.
The path to better sleep, and in turn a more productive and energized life, begins with awareness. To help our community have a better understanding of the effects of sleep and sleep disorders, Sadler Clinic and the Woodlands Mall are sponsoring a “Sleep Awareness” discussion at the Woodlands Mall featuring Jerald H. Simmons, M.D., Director of Sadler Clinic’s Sleep Disorders Center located in The Woodlands at 9201 Pinecroft Drive. Dr. Simmons is a board certified Neurologist and Sleep Disorders Specialist. The discussion will take place on Saturday, April 5th at 1:00 p.m.
A nationally recognized expert in the field of sleep disorders and an excellent communicator, Dr. Simmons will speak on understanding the importance of a good night’s sleep, and how disturbed sleep can actually hinder our health, and what we can all do to get better rest each night. The topics he will cover include:
Dr. Simmons will welcome your questions and have handouts for attendees explaining some of the common sleep disorders.
